MRS. IDA ONG

    Mrs. Ida Ong, Founder and Owner of Imp International, Model Agency and Grooming College since 1977, comes with a wealth of Public Relations experience, having worked in leading Singapore hotels, the Shangri-La and Phoenix, and also served as Marketing and Public Relations Manager of the Specialists' Centre before starting her own business.

    Imp International was one of Singapore's leading modelling agencies until May 8, 1992, when Mrs. Ong felt the market need and great potential for image building, and so turned the company around to solely concentrate on grooming for people of all ages, and from all vocations.

    Over the years, she has quickly gained the high reputation of being a top Grooming Consultant, having personally groomed a wide range of people, from school children to top models and actors.  Some of the more well known names include Ms. Zoe Tay, Ms. Fann Wong, Ms. Irin Gan, and Mr. James Lye, who were her top models in Imp International.

    She is also a much sought after Stylist and Host for fashion workshops and have conducted numerous ones, for leading fashion brands like Liz Claiborne, Jessica, Theme, Metro, just to name a few.  With her repertoire of anecdotes and wide fashion knowledge, she is able to share valuable tips, especially on colour co ordination, maximise use of purchases, figure analysis, wardrobe planning and current trends, as well as enjoy wonderful rapport with her audience.

MR. ABDULLAH ASHARI

    Mr. Abdullah Ashari has been our Resident Choreographer and Instructor for the male basic and professional modeling courses, as well as corporate grooming courses.

    Mr. Ashari, who has had formal dance training, is responsible for all aspects of choreography work for the company, which includes the co ordination of technical setup, models, clothes, music, props, and sequences of the shows.  He is also a capable compere, and has displayed great initiative with good and new ideas to suit the needs of clients, as well as their budgets.  His list of clients include M B Melwani, Metro, Paragon Shopping Centre, Centrepoint Shopping Centre, Wisma Shopping Centre, He She Group of Companies, 2nd Chance, and Television Corporation of Singapore for their Malay, Indian and Chinese programmes.  His work has been brought overseas to Australia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Malaysia, for the Royal Sultans of Johore and Brunei, showcasing the works of local and foreign designers.

    The other aspect of work that he is responsible for is the training of staff from five star hotels, corporate companies, members of the Civil Service, and Educational Institutions on general grooming programmes. His specialties include all aspects of deportment, fashion sense, social etiquette, personal hygiene, hair care and skincare. He has groomed many a top model and winner for Imp International, and currently is involved from time to time, in training of models.

    Mr. Ashari is totally responsible, confident, pleasant, honest and hardworking, and is a pleasure to work with, a true professional.

MS. JACKIE SOON

    Ms. Jackie Soon comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field of beauty therapy.

    She was trained in Melbourne, Australia, in the Australian College of Hair and Beauty, and subsequently worked as a Consultant for a leading slimming centre as well as a renowned skincare and makeup brand, Clinique.

    She was later recognised for her work as a leader in her field and became a sought after Trainer for two other renowed beauty companies, Princess Marcella Borghese and Payot.

    Jackie has been running her own beauty salon, Divine Beaute, for many years, and provides top quality beauty and body works, as well as conducting classes on skincare and makeup for people of all ages.  With her quick wit and endearing personality, Jackie has proved to be a favourite with all participants from schools, banks, hotels, and corporate companies.

MR. ANDREW NG

    Mr. Andrew Ng was trained at Complections International, London School of Makeup, as well as by visiting Makeup Instructors from the houses of Christian Dior and Revlon.  He is multi skilled, having been involved in editorial work for magazines, commercial jobs, weddings, fashion shows and beauty contests.

    Annually, for many years, Andrew has been coordinating makeup for fashion galas hosted by top jeweler names such as Tiffany and Company.  His work has benefited people from all walks of life, be it hotel, financial and banking, or corporate sectors, to name but a few.

    His fun approach and quick wit always find participants learning quickly in a more relaxed way, yet keeping his important tips in mind to a more beautiful way of life.  His ever growing clientele seek him for exclusive skincare and makeup lessons.

MR. STEVEN TSAI

    Mr. Steven Tsai is currently running his own salon, De Saint Salon in the Meridian Hotel Singapore.

    Steven received his training from the Vidal Sasson School of Hairdressing in London, England.  Upon returning home to Singapore, he set up his own salon, the Steven Tsai Salon in Far East Plaza for 6 years before migrating to Australia.  Whilst in Australia, he worked in leading salons in Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide and has superb understanding of both Asian and Caucasian hair.  Due to personal reasons, he returned home to set up a salon with partners, before finally setting up his own salon.

    Steven has been actively involved in corporate courses for leading companies, hotels, educational institutions, etc.  His friendly manner coupled with a sense of humour, with a real love for solving hair problems, make him a popular trainer with all.

    Steven has also vast experience in creating fabulous hairstyles for contestants of beauty contests, and is a much sought after stylist for both bride and groom.

SALON LE POINT

    Salon Le Point, one of Singapore's foremost hairdressers, is located at a luxurious 5 star hotel, The Regent.  The salon offers all professional hair services in cutting, styling, colouring, perming and the latest hair techniques.  There is also a hair spa located within the salon which offers up to date hair treatments and the utmost in pampering.  An inhouse manicurist is also on hand for manicure and pedicure, while a makeup artist is available for personal and evening makeup.

    Their team of friendly and well trained stylists are always on hand to look after your every need, and these stylists are also the trainers who have been incorporated into imp international's grooming programmes.
